Iris's Auriculas in bloom today

Viktor
Iris a member in Southern England has some of her auriculas in bloom today. 
Whilst here in Sweden we are struggling with snow and sub zero temperatures, what a difference.
Oh to be in England.

Snow on the cold frames

The snow is building up on my auricula cold frames; it's time to remove some before it gets too heavy.

Åke & Gunnel

Here you can see Åke & Gunnel frozen in the cold frames, where they overwinter; it’s relatively mild just now with only minus 4°C.
The old leaves are removed when they have defrosted in the spring.

Minus 15 in the garden

Here are some Minleys and Greenshanks which are outside in the garden, the cold frosts take some of the external leaves but new leaves shoot from the carrot in the spring.
