JOHNNY
Johnny and Stella, two of my borders have been enjoying the warmer weather; both come from an Osbourne Green x Ida cross, I'm trying to create some interesting hardy borders that tolerate the Swedish climate.

Anneli still waiting

Anneli which came into bud quite early, see post on the 13th March, is still waiting for some warmer weather to come into full bloom. We’ve had a heavy frost with temperatures around minus 5°C most nights and today is cold and wet; where is spring? /Ray

Rose Conjou, 1st to bloom

Due to ill health I've been unable to get out to my greenhouse for a few days, but what a pleasant surprise to find Rose Conjou in bloom when I opened the greenhouse doors. This perked me up no end, especially as it has yet to get into full growth. Rose Conjou was raised by M & A Sheader in 1986, it has proved to be a hardy double, which does very well here in Sweden./Ray
